Terms of Service
The practical terms for using this website and engaging Ravine Crest Field for heating work.
Effective date: 14 August 2026. These terms apply to ravinecrestfield.com and to enquiries, quotations and services provided by Ravine Crest Field.
1. Using this website
You may use this website for lawful personal or business purposes connected with evaluating home heating products or requesting our services. Do not interfere with its operation, probe its security or use its content to mislead another person.
2. Website information
We work to keep product descriptions, dimensions and service information accurate, but manufacturers may revise specifications and availability. Website content is general guidance and does not replace a site survey or appliance manual.
3. Enquiries and appointments
An enquiry is a request for discussion, not an acceptance of work. We may contact you to clarify the property, confirm access and arrange a survey. Please provide accurate measurements and disclose relevant building restrictions or existing defects.
4. Quotations
A quotation identifies the proposed appliance, materials, labour, taxes and assumptions known at the survey date. It becomes binding only when both parties approve the written scope and the required deposit or payment arrangement.
5. Installation conditions
Work depends on safe access, suitable structural support, compliant ventilation and any landlord, condominium or authority approvals. Hidden conditions, asbestos, damaged flues or unavailable utilities may require a revised scope before work can continue.
6. Customer responsibilities
You must provide access at agreed times, protect or remove fragile possessions, follow preparation instructions and ensure an authorised decision-maker is available for changes. You must operate the completed appliance according to our handover and the manufacturer’s instructions.
7. Payment and cancellation
Invoices are due on the dates stated in the approved quotation. Cancellation, postponement or special-order appliance charges may apply when Ravine Crest Field has already reserved labour, ordered materials or incurred delivery costs; the written quotation will state the applicable terms.
8. Warranty and service
We correct installation workmanship issues reported within the agreed warranty period, subject to reasonable use and maintenance. Appliance warranties are provided by the manufacturer. Damage caused by misuse, unauthorised alteration, blocked ventilation or neglect is outside our workmanship warranty.
9. Safety and emergency limits
Ravine Crest Field is not an emergency gas, fire or medical service. If you smell gas, see smoke, suspect carbon monoxide or experience a fire, leave the property and contact the appropriate emergency or utility service before contacting us.
10. Liability
We remain responsible for losses that cannot legally be excluded. To the extent permitted by law, we are not responsible for indirect losses, delays caused by third parties or damage resulting from information withheld by the customer or use contrary to written instructions.
11. Intellectual property
Site text, diagrams, photographs, logos and layouts belong to Ravine Crest Field or their licensors. You may view and print material for evaluating our services, but may not reproduce, sell or adapt it without written permission.
12. Governing law and contact
